The Skin and Body Shop, LLC, doing business as Skin & Body Shop operates an SMS / text messaging program strictly for customer care and service-related communication. Enrollment is opt-in only, and messaging under this program is limited to customer-care purposes. Our SMS program does not include promotional or marketing content.

2.1 How End Users Opt In

End users opt in by interacting with the Skin & Body Shop chat widget available at https://theskinandbody.marktr.co. During a chat interaction, users may voluntarily provide their mobile phone number to receive follow-up customer-care messages. The chat widget is the sole opt-in surface for our SMS program. No other page on the Site collects phone numbers for SMS enrollment.

At the moment a user submits their phone number through the chat widget, the widget displays the following consent statement, which the user must affirmatively submit to proceed:

“By submitting, you authorize Skin & Body Shop to text/call the number above for informational/transactional messages, possibly using automated means. Msg/data rates apply, msg frequency varies. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See terms and privacy policy. Text HELP for help and STOP to unsubscribe.”

After a successful opt-in, the user receives the following confirmation message by SMS:

“You have successfully opted in to receive customer care messages from Skin & Body Shop regarding your inquiries or service requests. Message frequency varies based on your support interactions. Message & data rates may apply. Text STOP to cancel. Text HELP for help.”

Consent to receive SMS is never a condition of purchasing any product or service from us.

2.2 What Messages You May Receive

Messages sent under this program are limited to customer care and service-related communication, including:

• Responses to support requests submitted through our chat widget
• Ticket updates and status notifications
• Appointment coordination tied to an existing inquiry
• Follow-up communications related to an open support interaction

Our SMS program does not include promotional, marketing, or advertising content of any kind.

2.3 Message Frequency, Rates, HELP and STOP

Message frequency varies based on the nature and status of your support interaction. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. To opt out of SMS communications at any time, reply STOP to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. 2.4 Data Sharing for SMS Opt-In

Information is only shared with direct service providers who help operate the SMS program (such as the messaging carrier and our chat / CRM platform) and is processed only for the purpose of delivering the customer-care messages you have consented to receive.
